Automatic and Manual Webhook Retries
How Optacy retries failed webhook deliveries and how to replay events from the dashboard.
When a webhook delivery fails, Optacy automatically retries three times, 30 minutes apart, then stops. After that, retry failed events manually from the privacy manager: open the webhooks log and use the retry control on the failed entry.
If you need to retry many failed events at once, contact us. Bulk retry via API is on the roadmap.
What happens on retry
- The signature timestamp is recalculated at retry time.
- We fetch the latest state of the privacy request and push that payload again.
Recording and transcription
Call sessions expose two separate statuses:
recording_status: whencompleted,mp3_encoded_bytesis availabletranscription_status: whencompleted,transcription_textis available
Treat those fields independently; a request can update once for the recording and again for the transcription.
