Can I Customize the Interactive Web Form?

Customize rights and questions with Jurisdiction Rules and Form Field Sets on Enterprise.

Webforms are customizable, from the rights you offer to the questions you ask. Defaults work for global privacy laws. Creating or editing Jurisdiction Rules and Form Field Sets is available on Enterprise.

1. Jurisdiction Rules for rights by region

A Jurisdiction Rule lets you offer different rights based on the country (and US state) the consumer selects. For example, select European countries and attach one set of rights for that region. You can be as granular as you need.

Attach the rule to the webform you want to edit. You cannot apply overlapping country/state coverage on the same webform. The UI blocks that. A common mistake is putting Other in multiple rules; include Other only once as a country and once as a state so the system knows which rule to apply.

2. Form Field Sets for questions

A Form Field Set controls which questions appear and whether they are required or optional. You can mark one field as the primary identifier (for example email, phone, or advertising ID). It surfaces in the Privacy Requests tab.

After saving, attach the Form Field Set to the webform. Defaults include First Name, Last Name, Email, and “I am a” (customer, employee, job applicant, vendor, other). You can edit, remove, or add questions.
