A Service Code is a brand, product, company, or privacy policy identifier in Optacy. SMB includes 1 Service Code at signup; Enterprise and Enterprise + Scale include up to 5. Need more? Contact us for a custom package. Each Service Code provisions a unique webform, toll-free number path, email intake, and workflows, so you can segment privacy requests into different buckets and process each bucket differently.
Jurisdiction Rules control which privacy rights consumers see (and how intake behaves) by country and/or state. Optacy configures rights by jurisdiction, so a webform shows rights only after a jurisdiction is selected. Use our defaults to support global privacy laws, or customize the rights and checkboxes offered in each jurisdiction.
A Form Field Set is the set of questions used to collect a privacy request on the webform and aligned intake channels. The default Form Field Set includes First Name, Last Name, Email Address, and “I am a” (customer, employee, and similar). Add or remove required or optional questions, document upload links, free-text fields, and more from your dashboard.
A Merge Variable is a piece of data that evaluates to a value you give it. A Merge Variable can include a mapping based on privacy request fields so different values merge in for different requests. For example, if a request is from a customer versus an employee, you can create a Merge Variable based on requester type that auto-evaluates to the value you provided for each requester type, so you can route or fulfill a request differently based on the privacy request you receive.
